Next game in my freeware strategy games series is Lincity - an open source game about old SimCity city simulation game.

Open source - FreeOrion

I tested FreeOrion, which is an open source version of Master of Orion. I tested the game with my Vista PC.
Installation went without problems and the game worked, but not correctly. For example all the research was done in one turn. There were also challenges with interface and ship building etc.
