According to Ria Novosti, “At 1:00 p.m. Moscow time [09:00 GMT], it was found 300 miles off Cape Verde islands. The crew is alive. They were taken to the Ladny frigate,” Anatoly Serdyukov said.
This incident has been quite interesting. It is not knows, that ship would have hijacked at Baltic Sea for hundred years. Other interesting thing is, why would Russian nuclear submarines search missing Finnish wood ship.
There has been speculations, that Arctic Sea would have carried nuclear weapons or it would be involved in arms smuggling. The truth may never be known.
