Scientific blogging is a virtual community, which brings science 2.0 to it’s readers and authors. If you are a researcher, you don’t longer have to wait for months or even years to get your research accepted and published. You can also write at early stage of your research and get global feedback from other researchers around the World.
Scientific blogging was created as an alternative for popular sites, which only gather already popular writers or science sites with certain political agendas. The idea is that anyone can publish articles and findings without being censored.
Getting an account is free and after registering you can host your own column and comment on the articles. You can also chat with other writers, customize your profile, your bio, your picture. Register by creating a new account.

Last summer I started a project at SourceForge with my own game: World Ants. First week was quite active, but then I faced problems, which were too hard for me to solve. However after few months, I got my interest back and now in three weeks, I have been able to build a simple game architecture. The game is everything else but ready, but now I think that I can proceed with details.
Chosen technologies were MySQL and PHP, which were not familiar to me before this project. But now I’ve learned the basics and I can use database, cookies and I can build simple functions with PHP.
Well, now I do not have to worry, what I will do during my Christmas holiday.
I updated my WP software to new version. Once again the admin interface looks quite different.
But now here seems to be this “QuickPress” feature, which I’ll have to try out immediately.
QuickPress facilitates “quick” blogging. If you are not going to write out long article, but just drop few lines, QuickPress feature is useful.
At the moment, I’m not doing payed blogging. Reasons are simple: 1) low number of opportunities and 2) low income. Next few months I’ll try to develope my platforms and I’ll also try to proceed with my game project.
