Servers were down and access denied, but luckily there was a site, where a Finnish version of OpenOffice v3.0 was available. Still it took over an hour to download. However the installing (HP & Vista) went faster and now I’m looking forward to find out the new features of the OpenOffice 3.
Hacker Evolution is an interesting game for players, who like different games, especially strategy games. There is nothing to shoot, but player’s goal is to capture computers around the World. Player has different commands like: connect, scan, cat, abort, decrypt, crack to search and scan servers at the World, and to find out for the weak points. With some experience about command prompt, the game is easy to learn. From the hacked servers, player can find usable files and information, he/she may also transfer money to buy hardware updates or use the hacked servers to hide from tracers.

You play the role of a former intelligence agent, specializing in computer security. When a chain of events sets off worldwide, leaving critical service disabled, you assume the role a computer hacker to find out what happened and attempt to stop it.
When a stock market, a central bank, satellite uplink and transoceanic fiber optics links crash, you know this is more then a simple event. Something big is behind all this, and you have to figure out what is it.
You hack into computers, look for exploits and information, steal money to buy hardware upgrades in an attempt to put all the pieces of a big puzzle, together.

In Summer I wrote at Newsvine, how you can tease phishers, and earlier this month I “rewarded” email spammer.
Now the newest thing was, that someone send a pure spam message at Kirnu. In the message, there were about 12 links to certain credit repair address. The normal procedure this far has been removing these kinds of messages. But this time I had an idea…
Instead of deleting Credit Repair 101 post, I just moved original links and repaced them with some competitors. So the spammer gets no benefit, but actually this harms his objectives.
When fighting agaist web spammers or phising, don’t fight the technology and methdos but against their objectives.
