Atlantic Global is a company, which provides Programme and Project Portfolio Management Software. Software comprises two distinct solution sets:

  • Atlantic Global Corporate Vision, which provides a business management view of organisation’s projects, and provides a structured environment for deciding which projects, programmes and initiatives to fund, to sustain and to eliminate.
  • Atlantic Global Business Solution, which helps business to manage the detailed day-to-day project operations and delivers visibility and accountability into key operational processes by enhancing project planning, resourcing, skills management, time & expense tracking, cost reconciliation & billing, request management & issue tracking processes.

Company’s mission is to help businesses to better understand their resource capability and deployment, thereby enabling improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness. The missions is achieved through partnership with customers and high quality software.

In my daily work, I face the challenges of the project work, so I’m always interested in project management software and solutions. Atlantic Global  provides Online Timesheet & Expense Management, which automates the entry, tracking, billing and reporting of time and expenses across the organisation. I like especially about information flowing across the organisation, because this seems to be a big daily challenge. Atlantic Global’s Corporate Online Timesheet Tracking provides control over project costing and online timesheet biling processes. Online timesheet management capabilities provide better control of all of people, projects, time and cost – making information more visible, available and accessible in real time to all of the employees in the organisation.

Introduction of new information system or software is always a challenge. Online Timesheet & Expense Tracking seems to use an intuitive web-based system, which is easy to deploy and scalable to any size of department or organisation. This will reduce the adoption time in the organisation. An intuitive web interface helps employees learn faster to use the software and they are likely to get the best benefit out of it.

Only a week ago I wrote about joining Flicrk and uploading my first pictures there and now I spotted news about Getty Images planning to buy pictures from Flicrk.

Getty customers usually pay between $29 and $200,000 for an image, depending on how freely they may use it. Photographers receive 30 percent to 40 percent of the licensing fee if the customer’s rights to use the image are limited in scope or time, or 20 percent if the image may be used with fewer restrictions.

I did not find details how this is done technically, but perhaps all you need is a box to click, if you wish to sell your photo.

Choosing web host services is as important as choosing the correct software platform for your online project or business. With a fuss, you can end up with web hosting services, which are not suitable for you and cost too much.

With some background work, your decision will become better and cheaper. And you don’t even have to do all the work by yourself, but you can use web hosting directories to find out different service providers. For example Web Hosting Geeks provide such services. At their web site, you can find out top web hosts, and evaluate different service providers.

If you are looking for web host, or you are considering to change your old one, don’t hesitate to check out Web Hosting Geeks site, to find out the most suitable solution for you.

About week ago I registered at Flickr, which I had been plannig for over a year. Or actually I did not: the first positive surprise was, that I could use my Yahoo account, which I have because Yahoo 360 blog.

Flickr is for picture sharing. You can upload your pictures and share them. You can also give away some of your copyrights, and then your pictures can be used, for example at Newsvine. At flickr you can create your profile and of course manage your photos.
