Is online business going to recession?

June 21st, 2008 · 5 Comments

I just read, that Newsvine has payed the lowest revenue for it’s members for a long time. Personally I have noticed, that there are not that much blogging opportunities as it used to be some time ago. Google Adsense revenue is not that big either.

USA and the rest of the World is heading to recession and the signals should be seen at online business too. Luckily this is a hobby for me at the moment, and if my web earnings fall, I’ll be fine.

But if online business is heading a recession too, we should see bankruptcies  with web shops too.

Hi there, what you said probably right.

Recently i’ve stumbled upon a Free eBook and it has helped me to make some money since and i thought you might be interested. You can write a review of it to share with readers if you find it useful :)

    Warmly,
    Sid.

Newsvine is in a depression because of poor management and good writers are leaving to go to the big money payers on the Internet. I am making over $100 a month at my other web-sites which I keep a secret from the general public. I like Newsvine and the original people, but now some changes have to be made before you will see an up turn in payments to writers. . . . . the chickens come home to roost!

I don’t think that the revenue has ever been good, but latest one sure is a motivation killer.

Newsvine staff should understand groupware and the features of the virtual communities better.

Pasi ~ Let me know when a group of ‘Ex-Viners’ start their own web-site, like it was in the past. I have some ideas that could help the group get started. - Raymonty/Seedplanter.
