Finnish blogger has been sentenced to over two years prison for insulting the authorities. You can consider this quite hard, because I know killers, who has got less. Writing wrong in Internet seems to be more harmful than hitting someone with knife.

Today I wrote about Finnish politicians and election money at my Finnish blog cybersoturi. Now I have to be careful, that I don’t write anything improper. Perhaps next time I’ll be blogging from the jail?

At my “real work” with information management, we have planned and improved our service level for years. We have planned service catalogue, improved our service desk and developed incident management. However, we have not been very successful with configuration management, which is one important component of the entity. And after you have planned your configuration management process, it has to be supported with usable software. At certain point, there is no sense to continue by own, but you should consider using consultant with your problem. Capable consultant can save your time and improve your quality.

Uplogix provides award-winning IT remote network solutions. The single greatest challenge to providing high service levels at distributed locations is the lack of onsite IT support staff to monitor, troubleshoot and fix network-related problems.

Vox is a free social blogging platform like MySpace, Blogger, Windows Live etc. I have used and tested the site about half year with my Box blog. I have wrote some posts, but I have never gone deep into the Vox community (communities) so I cannot tell you much about that. But about using Vox…

Vox is quite easy to learn and use. You can choose a template to your blog, but as far as I know, you cannot influence that much on the structure and modules. There are several useful modules like recent comments, profile, links, videos etc. But you cannot easily pick up the ones, you wish to have.

But I have not been that active user with the Vox community and because the Kirnu, it is more likely, that I’ll never will.

Every device, like PC, mobile phone etc, which is connected to the Internet is assigned a unique number known as IP address. Because IP address’s numbers are usually assigned to Internet IP address can often be used to identify the region or country from which a computer is connecting to the Internet. And that’s why an IP service providers within region-based blocks, an address can sometimes be used to show the user’s general location. But it is not only you, who leave marks around the Internet, but it is every visitor on your web pages, who leave their IP and unique mark about their visit on your site.

Now you may wonder: whats my ip? You can find out from your IP configuration with command prompt, but faster way is to click that link. The link takes you to What Is My IP Address web pages, which tells you your IP address and the location you are connected to Internet.

And it not just your IP address, but with What Is My IP Address web pages, you can find out the location of any IP address, you wish (and know).

But of course, you’ll first have to know your visitors IP addresses, but that is not a hard thing to find out. For example, I have a tracer at my web pages, which collects the IP of my page visitors. With What Is My IP Address, can find out, where did the visitors actually come from, and from which organization did they come. Now this can be very useful, if you have commercial pages and you are searching for potential customers. You just collect the visitorsIP, and then use What Is My IP Address to find out, if there are any potential customers. Then when you know the organization and it’s interest, you can contact them directly.

My first blog was established in 2/2007. It was not cyberantweb, but 2. Space at Windows Live. I had an task from my work to find out, what kind of virtual spaces there were available. The task ended a long time ago, but I still keep on blogging at Windows Live.

I used to blog there for PPP, before a technical update ended my blogging and now days, I just use to create links to my other sites. Last article was about Porsche 1600 Super at Kirnu.
