I’m in the group of few very lucky ones, which were invited to be Aplha testers at IZEA’s SocialSpark. Appha users are needed to weed out bugs and bring SocialSpark into public Beta as soon as possible.SocialSpark has been improved a lot if you compare it to PayPerPost:

1. All links are no-follow, fully search engine compliant and must carry in-post disclosure.
2. SocialSpark offers display ads as well as Sponsored Posts.
3. Greatly expanded reporting capabilities and blog analytics.
4. Ability to have bloggers or advertisers initiate a transaction.
5. Social networking tools to foster communities and conversation.

I’ll be writing more about SocialSpark after gaining some experiences about the site.

HowTo.fm is a news site, where people can publish their technical oriented articles and tutorials. While writing this article, there were 19 different categories for articles including technical categories like Linux, Computers and Internet, but there are also categories for art, food, health and sports, so the site is not tightly oriented just to technological topics.

To get more detailed view about the site and the quality of the articles, you can read a specific article at Categories –> SSH and NIS server –> sshd server configuration

Before sending your articles and tutorials at HowTo, you must notice, that they have to have unique-content and have not been published elsewhere on the Internet yet.

While writing this, there is 444 submitted articles since November 2007, so looks like the site has a good start. The topics about the latest article submissions are: 1) The configuration file in Internet; Web services, 2) Apache logs in Internet; Web services, and 3) Testing the length of a TextArea field in Programming; ColdFusion MX.

If you got interested in, check out the site HowTo.fm to find out more.

NowPublic is an online communite and a social media site, which allows it’s members to run own news column and establish articles, pictures and videos. Joining is free, but you are supposed to follow the community rules, which includes things like other members and staying in truth, while writing stories.

The social features at NowPublic allow you to comment on articles to have a conversation with other members. You can also favourite other users and form your own sub community with your friends. NowPublic supports also social news editing and, for example, members can add content, like pictures, to each others articles.

Pasi at NowPublic

I joined NowPublic 4.4.2008 so I do not have that much experience about the site at the moment, but I’ll promise to report more later.

However in two days I have published six stories, two of them made it at frontpage and I’ve got over 1000 visitors already, so I’m quite happy with my start.

The Finnish investment company’s, WinCapita’s (WinClub) website has disappeared as has the “top level” of the company. The “middle level”, so called sponsors, of WinClub has formed a community at Pattaya and is now living under a fear of the “low level” investors, who have lost millions of Euros. The business idea with WinClub was supposed to be a business intelligence software, which is able to foresee the future of the global currency trade.

The collapse and disappearing of Finnish Internet investment company, WinClub (WinCapita), has bought several other investment companies under police and authorities investigation. Most of the companies are supposed to be pyramid/Ponzi schemes.

At the moment there are several currency trade companies working in Finland, which may or may not be pyramid schemes.

But the fact is, that several people have lost thousands of Euros.
