I had some difficulties with installing Google Analytics at my Newsvine column, but last December I finally made it work. Or should I say, that Newsvine made it work for me. Anyway, from 5. of December 2007 I was able to see, what kinds of articles and seeds were interesting and viewed at Newsvine. Google Analytics also provides information about the sources of the traffic, so I was able to analyze and make conclusions about it. And from the January 2008, I started to adapt these conclusions into my seeding, writing and linking. The result was that my review numbers increased about 400% during January. However my earnings increased only 150%, so I still have to follow the data and analyze the impact of different events to be able to still improve my visitor number and my earnings.
