Snapbomb blog marketing

February 10th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve done sponsored blogging now for eight months and I’ve gained experiences from several different web earnings. The basic idea with blog marketing companies is, that blogger will write for advertiser, about advertiser’s topic to create buzz, but the content of the article is done by the blogger. The challenges with existing blog marketing companies are at the moment:
- low revenue for blogger
- not that much opportunities available
- complicated acceptance processes for blogs, offers and posts

The market is young and there are different kinds of companies trying to get there share. I have done some good deals, but at the moment I’m not satisfied as a sponsored blogger. So yesterday I was more than happy, when I received a good hint about new company, when reader commented on my blog:

Check out http://www.snapbomb.com , they’ve got some good blogging opportunities and no approvals required since they put a value on your blog.

Because I have not been that satisfied with my current web 2.0 earnings, I immediately registered to Snapbomb to check it out. After my blog was evaluated, my average post revenue was doubled, so I did not hesitate to try it out.

For a blogger, the process goes like this:
1) You register and your blog will be evaluated. Evaluation takes few seconds and blogger (blog) will be given a certain dollar value. So you will know, how much you will earn.
2) After that, you check for different opportunities and pick those you like. Every offer you see is an offer you can choose - no tricks or waiting needed.
3) When you choose an offer, you have 12 hours time to finish your post.
4) After you are done, Snapbomb will review your post and provide you with feedback and a rating to get you started. I have no experience about this review process yet.
5) You’ll have to earn $50 before you are payed.

I think that the best feature with Snapbomb is, the one mentioned in the blog comment I received: there is no approvals required since the blog gets it’s value. I could use more information about the quality of the posts. And it would be good, if blogger would be payed as he/she earns without certain dollar buffer ($50). I’ll be writing more about Snapbomb after I receive more experiences.
