I've gotten more than one $100 check from adsense now, and am soon to get my third. Certain things matter:
1. Ad Placement - use Google's heat map to find the best places to put your ads. It is on the AdSense site. In short - mid content ads are best. I've gotten between 3 and 5 percent click-throughs for my ads.

2. Keywords - not all ads pay the same. I had a celebrity blog that paid about five cents (US) per click and a finance blog that paid 50 cents per click. Sites that have competitive keywords make more money.

3.TRAFFIC - eyeballs equal money, plain and simple. You will need thousands, if not tens of thousands of ad impressions to make 100 dollars. A few sites do that every day. Mine did it every few months.

Thanks for commenting.

I think that publisher id can be seen from any page's html source. So it cannot be hidden from anyone.
